Yes it has been a while. That would be because there is really nothing new to tell you. Work really has been consuming all of my time and days off are spent catching up on sleep, laundry, pay bills, ect. So much for the experiance of Manhattan. I have been able to get a little time studying my handy dandy "The Complete Study Guide to getting your Captains license." Wow, a lot of details but doable. A lot less work than studying for my nursing boards 3 years ago. But I guess that was actually 4 years of studying.
After surfing the net and searching for other sailors and reading their stories makes me miss it out there. I know that this is a time of work to pay off of a few credit cards and getting ahead at this very good paying job in the Bronx but I really want to be on the water again. I am ready to feel the water under me and have the whole place to myself out in the open. I know I just have to wait but I am not very good at it. BA!
The pictures have been shown before from the Erie Canal and the Hudson but here they are again.

Great pictures Rachael. I know what you mean about waiting to get back on the water - April 1st seems pretty far away right now.
Fortunately New York has a lot to offer in the meantime!
